Introduction:
The task that was given to me, was to build a model of a shed on Revit. Revit is a digital work area where you can design and build a 3D replica of anything needed. In this case, I needed to build a shed. However I could not build the shed how I desired, along with the task came a packet of instructions full with constraints. So instead of the packet just teaching us how to place walls, floors, roofs, siding, and other materials. It also showed us the constraints of those materials, so that everything was proportional and correct. The whole shed had to be completed in roughly 3 days, this includes a 3D model, elevation views, floor plans, and a B-sized construction drawing that are all shown below.

Conclusion:
Coming into the project of building a shed, I felt excited. I was excited for two reasons, one is that I just love to design and build models, and the second reason was because I wanted to learn how to use revit. At first using revit was like trying to learn a new language, I had no clue how to draw any types of the structures, or how to change the shape of anything. The hardest part on Revit was changing the material of the wall studs, and creating the siding of the shed. Other than that, after a day I was in full control, looking at the packet for some assistance. The only down part about this project was the days the teacher was missing from the class, I had a struggle figuring out how to construct trees around my shed without asking any questions. However I pushed through and in the end I was able to decorate my shed with amazing Italian trees.
