Our 4 Problems:
- Not being able to see your phone in the bright sun even though you turn up your brightness. For example using it at the beach or at any outdoor activity. Anyone who has a mobile phone or electronic device that uses it outdoors can find this to be a problem.
- Losing your pencil constantly even though you know exactly where you left it. Or even worse when it was just on your desk and you look away for one second and look back and its gone. Students in school or anyone who writes daily would have a problem like this.
- Any constant problem you have with glasses, such as rain on them or being uncomfortable. Anyone who wears glasses knows the problems.
- Unable to properly organize pots in pans in a kitchen cabinet due to different sizes, shapes, and depths. People who cook such as chefs would have a problem like this.
Existing Solutions:
- There are no known actual inventions that help to see your phone screen in the sun. The only thing that helps is adjusting the brightness on your phone that the company produces.
- The only existing solutions to losing your pencil is to have a pencil case or have a cup full of pencils. These are not efficient or modern solutions.
- For problems with glasses no real solutions are created for rain or comfortableness.
- Solutions for unorganized cabinets are hangers for pots and pans, drawers that can slide in and out, and dividers for kitchen appliances.

Summary:
I am very excited that we have finally arrived to our capstone project. I'm glad I'll be working with a close friend and good teammate. So far the project has been very time consuming as it was very difficult for Spencer and I to actually come up with a problem we wanted to solve. We spent several days in a row thinking about our daily routines to find something interesting we wanted to solve. It was difficult at times because we kept wanting to think of solutions instead of problems. Finally we came to agreement of glasses getting wet to be our problem. From there we easily complete the task at hand. The only thing we need to do better is keep our journal up to date.
